Jun was a member of Tika Gang of Happy Valley (a youth club that coordinated most of the social events of the barrio and who was fond of partaking simple food preparations concocted by the group headed by Lita Pusag, Moding Lolarga, Eding Pusag et al). An active and energetic member of the then Happy Valley-Market Youth Club, Jun was always available in helping for the physical arrangement of the barrio's court wherein most of the summer sports activities were being held.
