School Story:
It was a very exciting and remarkable experience studying at RIDB. It was a beautiful week in June 1988, all of the freshmen were so excited to meet new friends, new teachers and stepped on a new world of High School. After staying a week at the old RI Bldg. all of us were shocked to discover that our school was burned, and what was left was the Machine shop and the Canteen. But the Teachers and students spirits were not down at that time. Mrs. Fererra and the Faculty continues to teach even at UST( under the Shed of the (RI) Trees). RI stayed on several school Bldgs in Canlubang to conduct classes, namely the SCCS-HS Bldg, and the Canlubang Public Elementary Bldg. The 1st and 2nd year of my stay with RI was spent on this Bldg. But school doesn't mean the Bldg, "It is the Teachers and the students that makes a school." On my 3rd year, the new RI Bldg has been completely built and an inauguration was held. The funny story is, the Don Bosco Drum and Bugle Band is playing the theme of Superman the Movie when suddenly, "Mars" the facility guy is running on the quadrangle, me and my friend lester pointed our hands on him and shouted "it's superman" everybody is laughing and clapping for him.....Anyway, I have so much memories of RIDB, the school, the classmates, and of course the teachers, who built the foundations amongst us, their students, whether with bldg or under the shed of the tree, the discipline and training that has been instilled in our minds that will remain forever....and will be part of our success in life....keep the bosconian standard...Youth of Today Forward March!!!!
